AI cost is the Claude API use AfterRushes counted for the project, at Anthropic’s list prices. Electricity, the computer and the licence aren’t in it. The films on this page are AfterRushes’ cuts as exported; any changes asked for are shown under “Changing it in plain English”.

The brief
Make a three-minute cinematic wedding highlight film and a 30-second vertical teaser. Use music recorded on the day where there is any. No speeches edit.
What went in
AfterRushes was given 35 video clips and no photos, 10.2 minutes of footage and 0.3 GB in all. Six of the clips are upright. None of them has any sound, and the files don't record which camera filmed them. The brief asked for a three-minute highlight film in the cinematic style and a 30-second vertical teaser, with no speeches edit. AfterRushes set aside none of the 35 clips.

What the AI noticed
- Shot choice
Choir in red and clapping guests together
- Shot choice
Guest's phone captures the couple, unique perspective
- Music suggestion
Add a licensed cinematic track for the highlight and an upbeat one for the teaser, since no music was recorded on the day or supplied.
- Suggested addition
Include the children taking communion from the upright phone clip during the ceremony section.
- Suggested cut
Drop the masked-guests shots if you prefer the film not to date the day to that period.
- Title suggestion
Show the wedding date under the couple's names on the opening title as well as at the end.
The music
No music was recorded on the day and none was supplied, so the film has no soundtrack, and as the clips have no sound, it plays silent. Given a licensed track of your own, AfterRushes finds its beats and cuts the film to them.
Technical details
There is no soundtrack. None of the 35 clips has sound, no music was recorded on the day and none was supplied, so the film as AfterRushes made it has no sound at all, with no music, no speech and no sound from the clips. The teaser is silent too. In the Assistant, the AI wrote, "None of the footage has usable sound and no music was supplied, so the films have no music or voice-over yet".
AfterRushes can use the band or DJ recorded on the day as the soundtrack when the recording is clean enough, or your own licensed track. Music for wedding films covers licensed tracks and the band on the day.

1 aisle. 2 walks. Down it before the vows. Back up it to applause. Couples keep asking for video. Start saying yes. AfterRushes found the rings, the kiss and the dancing and cut the film. Camera cards in. Wedding film out.

30 seconds. That's the sneak peek. Her veil in the window light, the hand on her head, the ring, the walk back up the aisle. AfterRushes cut the vertical teaser with the film from the phone clips that worked. Post it tonight. Your next sneak peek? Try it free.
What it didn’t do
- No sound. The film and the teaser are silent. A licensed track, as the AI's first suggestion says, still has to be chosen and added.
- No spoken lines. With no sound in the clips there were no vows or speeches to lay over the pictures, and the brief didn't ask for a speeches edit.
- A ceremony film. The seven chapters run from one getting-ready shot to the walk back up the aisle, and there is no first dance.
- The final say. The AI's four suggestions are still open. The AI made the first cut; the photographer reviews it, decides on each suggestion and makes the film their own.
